If it ain’t broke, Wolf Blitzer ain’t changing it.
The veteran CNN anchor celebrated his Buffalo Payments’ wild-card victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday with a submit to X that includes one thumbs up and one index finger aimed on the remaining rating: 31-7.
The flaunting didn’t lengthen to his antiquated tv setup, although, and other people on-line are letting Blitzer hear it.
“5 remotes, cable box, dvd, vcr and a 480p. What a world,” one X consumer wrote in reference to his archaic setup.
“Wolf said,’I’m not buying a new set until the Bills go back to the Super Bowl.’” wrote one other.
“Ain’t no way I see a plugged in VCR in 2025,” chimed a 3rd.
‘Love the two VCR’s. Can rewind one whereas watching one other. Veteran transfer,’ opined a fourth.
Along with the tech — or lack thereof — the wooden casing bought some love, too.
“Is that a home entertainment center or a portal to Narnia?” a consumer wrote.
Few and much between although they have been, Wolf’s configuration did have its supporters.
“Why do I feel so at peace seeing this TV set up? Brings me back to my childhood for sure!” wrote one.
“I’ve never really been a fan, but I might need to reconsider that after seeing your home setup. Respect,” commented one other.
“We have older tech, also. Some people are happy with what they have. The money we save compounds quite nicely,” wrote a 3rd.
Wolf, a lifelong Payments fan and College at Buffalo alumnus, didn’t reply to any of the feedback, not even the one accosting him of pulling the tv out of a “storage locker in the first episodes of ‘Storage Wars’ 15 years ago.”
Buffalo triumphed over Denver within the wild-card spherical on the again of a stellar-as-usual efficiency from sign caller Josh Allen, who accomplished 20-of-26 move makes an attempt for 272 yards and two touchdowns.
Blitzer’s subsequent alternative to see Allen and firm at work will come Sunday when the Payments host the Baltimore Ravens with a visit to the AFC Championship sport on the road.
Kickoff is scheduled for six:30 p.m. ET.
