President Trump obtained a agency handshake from California Gov. Gavin Newsom as he exited Air Power One upon arrival in Los Angeles Friday — with the Democrat making good after Trump blasted his administration of the disaster.
“I appreciate the governor coming out and meeting me,” Trump informed reporters on the tarmac. “We want to get it fixed.”
“You got hit by a bomb,” Trump stated — likening the scenes of wildfires to the devastation of World Struggle II.
“Most importantly, thank you for being here,” Newsom informed Trump. “We’re going to need your support. We’re going to need your help.”
“You were there for us during COVID”
Trump earlier Friday recommended that federal help to rebuild would have a “condition” of state legislators first requiring IDs to vote within the state, a menace that Newsom didn’t tackle in entrance of cameras.
