Recognizing a canine struggling to remain afloat in a icy Vermont river, Chris MacRitchie by no means hesitated.
He jumped into the frigid waters and waded over to the canine, gently pulling it ashore, the place his spouse draped it with a sweatshirt.
The dramatic rescue Friday afternoon in Berlin was caught on video by his son and was shared broadly on social media.

MacRitchie known as the canine’s proprietor, Morgan Cerasoli, whose quantity was listed on the canine tag.
Cerasoli stated she had been in search of her canine named Arizona, a 7-year-old mutt who had initially been rescued from the aspect of the highway in South Carolina, since Thursday.
