An MTA bus driver misplaced management of a metropolis bus Friday morning and broke via a retaining wall within the Spuyten Duyvil part of the Bronx, leaving the car dangling over the road.
The incident occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m., when the unidentified driver crashed via a stone retaining wall over Kappock St. close to the Henry Hudson Parkway, leaving the entrance half of the bus hanging a few dozen ft off the bottom.
The car was not carrying any passengers on the time, in response to MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan. FDNY first responders have been in a position to get the unhurt driver safely off the bus.
Donovan mentioned the reason for the crash is beneath investigation.
Hearth officers confirmed there have been no accidents, and mentioned FDNY crews continued to work the scene late Friday morning.
