President-elect Donald Trump stated Wednesday that he has obtained assurances from Mexico’s new president that she’s going to “stop migration” although her nation and into the US.
“Just had a wonderful conversation with the new President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo,” Trump wrote on Fact Social.
“She has agreed to stop Migration through Mexico, and into the United States, effectively closing our Southern Border,” the president-elect added.
Trump, 78, famous that in his “very productive conversation” with Pardo in addition they mentioned unlawful medicine coming into the US from south of the border.
“We also talked about what can be done to stop the massive drug inflow into the United States, and also, U.S. consumption of these drugs,” he stated.
“It was a very productive conversation!”
Trump introduced earlier this week that he deliberate to slap a 25% tariff on Mexican imports in an effort to get the nation to crack down on unlawful immigration and drug smuggling.
