President Trump and billionaire DOGE chief Elon Musk accused the media and pundits on Friday of attempting to create pressure between them in an effort to drive them aside.
“They want a divorce. They want you two to start hating each other,” Fox Information host Sean Hannity instructed Trump and Musk in a clip from a lengthier interview that can air subsequent week.
Trump, 78, agreed with the Fox Information host and revealed that Musk had already warned him concerning the media’s effort to sow discord.
“Oh, I see it all the time,” the president mentioned. “They tried it, then they stopped.”
“Actually, Elon called me and said, ‘You know, they’re trying to drive us apart.’ I said, ‘absolutely,’” Trump instructed the Fox Information host.
The forty seventh president, talking in tv information anchor’s cadence, then went on to parody a few of what he’s heard about himself and Musk on the information.
“You know, they said, ‘We have breaking news. Donald Trump has ceded control of the presidency to Elon Musk. President Musk will be attending a cabinet meeting tonight at 8:00,’” Trump joked.
“And I say, it’s just so obvious they are so bad at it. I used to think they were good at it. They’re actually bad at it,” he argued. “Because if they were good at it, I’d never be president.”

Talking on to Musk, Trump indicated he feels strongly that the general public can see by what he believes the media and speaking heads are attempting to fabricate.
“You know what I have learned, Elon? The people are smart. They get it,” the commander in chief mentioned.
Musk agreed.
“Yeah. They do, actually,” the Tesla and SpaceX founder mentioned.
“They get it. They really see what’s happening,” Trump reiterated.
The complete interview, which was taped on the White Home, will air Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 9 p.m. ET.
