Tom Selleck marked his eightieth birthday with a solo journey to McDonald’s.
The Emmy-winning actor was noticed selecting up some lunch on his big day Wednesday at a drive-thru in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
The “Blue Bloods” actor, who rocked darkish hair and a salt and pepper goatee, appeared in good spirits as he tucked right into a burger.
Later within the day, the “Magnum P.I.” star joined his family members for a swanky dinner to mark the event.
Selleck was noticed arriving at celeb favourite spot Tuscany il Ristorante together with his spouse, Jillie Mack, 67, and their daughter Hannah, 36, the Every day Mail reviews.
The trio had been joined by different family members for the luxury meal, which lasted for a number of hours till the restaurant’s closing time, the outlet provides.
Because the group left, Selleck was seen carrying a present in his hand.
The “Three Men and a Baby” actor revealed final month that he’s unsentimental about birthdays and had no plans for the large day.
“I’ll probably have dinner with maybe my brother and my sister and Jillie, just go out to dinner, kind of be quiet and not make a big deal of it,” he instructed Parade journal.
“I’m trying not to count. I stopped celebrating birthdays a while back. I intend to keep working,” he stated, including that birthdays aren’t as large of a deal to him now as they as soon as was.

“After 15 years, it’s hard. It’s hard to let go because coming to work was a joy,” he added.
Selleck admitted that he’s not seeking to give up appearing simply but as he revealed that he’d like to star in a Western helmed by “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan.
