The nail in the coffin of their union may have come in the form of Manganiello chilly birthday message to Vergara and her cryptic reference to the optimistic practice of lemon squeezing.

Vergara rang in her 51st trip around the sun in Italy, looking hot as hellfire and surrounded by a collection of close friends that notably did not include her husband.

Just a few days later, the pair told Page Six in a joint statement: “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Recent reports suggest that Manganiello’s sobriety journey played a part in their parting. The “True Blood,” stud has been sober since the early aughts while Vergara is known to let the good times roll and the liquor flow.

The couple has yet to reveal a cause or lay blame for their separation leading us to turn to the mirror of astrology to discern what aspects drew these two beauties together and what may have turned them towards divergent paths. Read on to learn more.
