A lot for the “dead” Girls’ Mile.
The retail image at 620 Sixth Ave. appeared bleak after Mattress Tub & Past went belly-up in 2021, abandoning 100,000 sq. toes on the iconic Girls’ Mile deal with that was left half-empty by workplace and retail departures.
Some geniuses even predicted doom for your complete buying hall north of West 14th Avenue.
Not so quick. The 700,000 square-foot cast-iron big between West 18th and West nineteenth streets is now 100% stuffed. Ulta Magnificence simply scooped up the final remaining storefront at 620 Sixth for 11,503 sq. toes on the bottom ground.
The asking hire was $175 per sq. foot. It will likely be Ulta’s third Large Apple location.
The deal follows Burlington Coat Manufacturing unit’s latest signing for almost 80,000 sq. toes.
The property, owned by RXR and Hudson Bay Capital, has seen greater than 490,000 sq. toes of leases up to now 12 months.
