Mayor Adams introduced Tuesday that an undisclosed medical situation that had him withdraw from the general public highlight for many of final week was a false alarm and he’s feeling higher.
“Tests were taken, and thank God, I [will] be around to harass you guys for a long time,” he informed reporters in Albany after delivering price range testimony. “The doctor said that all of those tests came out negative, and I’m happy all of that anxiety that comes with it [is over.] Any of you that have ever gone for a test, the possibilities of what it could be and coming out and seeing that test come out negative, it gives you a big smile.”
Amid his absence, rumors swirled about an imminent resignation from Adams, who has pleaded not responsible in his federal corruption case and is meant to face trial in April.
Adams’ workplace first mentioned on Jan. 26 he would cancel most of final week’s public schedule as a result of he wasn’t feeling effectively. His staff has declined to share specifics apart from saying the mayor would endure checks.
