A brand new deal for 54,250 sq. ft with Hartree Companions brings the 1.1 million square-foot tower to 85% leased.
It follows 180,000 sq. ft of leases signed over the previous 12 months.
Hartree, beforehand a subtenant, expanded within the constructing and signed a direct lease.
The asking hire was $75 per sq. foot.
SL Inexperienced director of leasing and actual property property Steven Durels stated the latest signings “reflect the ongoing desire by premier companies for distinctive, accessible, centrally located office space.”

A CBRE group represented Hartree and a Newmark group repped the owner.
Subsequent up at 1185 Sixth: Carnegie Café, a big new ground-floor restaurant on the nook of West 57th Avenue that was beforehand the NHL retailer.
