Michelle Yeoh makes emotional visit to her dad’s grave with her Oscar

It was an emotional homecoming.

One month after winning the Best Actress Oscar for her role in “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” Michell Yeoh has taken the statuette to her father’s grave in Malaysia.

The 60-year-old shared a snap to her Instagram page on Wednesday that showed her visiting the burial ground for Qing Ming — a major Chinese festival where relatives go to the tombs of their ancestors to clean and make offerings of food.

“Brought Mr.O home,” Yeoh wrote beneath a photo that showed her holding up her Oscar at the graveyard. “Without my parents’ love and trust and support … I wouldn’t be here today … love so much”

Yeoh’s father, Datuk Yeoh Kian Teik, died in 2014 at the age of 89.

Datuk was a successful businessman who founded a major bus company that operated services in both Malaysia and Singapore. He also served as chairman of Perak State’s Malaysian Chinese Association.

Meanwhile, Yeoh’s mother, Janet, is still living and was seen clutching her daughter’s Oscar statuette in a separate photo shared to Instagram.

Yeoh made history as the first Asian actress to win a Best Actress Oscar and dedicated the award to her beloved mom.

“I have to dedicate this to my mom, all the moms in the world, because they are really the superheroes. And without them, none of us will be here tonight,” she said at the ceremony, held in Los Angeles on Mar. 12.

“She’s 84 and I’m taking this home to her. She’s watching right now in Malaysia with my family and friends. I love you guys. I’m bringing this home to you!”

Yeoh beat out fellow nominees Cate Blanchett (“Tár“), Andrea Riseborough (“To Leslie“), Michelle Williams (“The Fabelmans“) and Ana de Armas (“Blonde“) to nab the Best Actress Oscar.

During her Oscars speech, Yeoh also appeared to take a swipe at CNN’s Don Lemon by stating: “This is proof that dreams, dream big, and dreams do come true. And ladies, don’t let anybody tell you you’re ever past your prime.”

The line, which drew raucous cheers and applause from the audience, seemed to be directed at Lemon’s controversial remarks about Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley’s age.
