Mark Wahlberg’s spouse wasn’t flying excessive after seeing his surprising hair transformation.
The actor, 53, determined to shave his head as an alternative of carrying a bald cap for the brand new Mel Gibson motion blockbuster, “Flight Risk.”
“There was no bald cap. I shaved the middle and left the horseshoe around the sides. We just shaved it,” Wahlberg informed Individuals in an interview printed on Friday.
“They would shave the top as close to the scalp as possible every day, obviously, because we didn’t have any stubble or anything. So I just hid it with a hat.”

Wahlberg performs a pilot flying a federal agent (Michelle Dockery) and a fugitive (Topher Grace) throughout Alaska within the thrilling flick.
Wahlberg and his spouse Durham, who tied the knot in 2009, share 4 children: Ella, 20, Michael, 18, Brendan, 15 and Grace, 14, who all discovered their dad’s new do moderately humorous.
“Oh, they’re gonna love it. My kids — my boys especially — they loved the haircut,” he quipped. “They got a lot of laughs out of that.”
Since “Flight Risk” was filmed in simply 22 days, Wahlberg solely needed to rock the shaved head for a number of weeks earlier than ditching it.

“I was locked into the part the whole time. So if we weren’t shooting, I was like either off in the corner by myself or I just would kind of go back to my little dressing room and just sit there,” he informed Individuals on Friday.
