Jena Sims reflects on ‘wild’ first year of marriage to Brooks Koepka

Jena Sims summed up her first year of marriage to Brooks Koepka in one word: “Wild.”

The pregnant Sports Illustrated Swimsuit hopeful, 34, reflected on her and Koepka’s relationship milestone on Sunday, when she posted new Instagram pics and a handful of others from the couple’s destination wedding in Turks and Caicos last June.

“It’s been a wild year. Happy anniversary @bkoepka,” Sims captioned the post.

In the opening shot, which was geotagged from the dreamy Caribbean locale, Koepka can be seen smiling next to Sims, who cradles her growing baby bump in a blue-and-white printed bikini.

Sims, who announced in May that she’s expecting her first child with Koepka, a baby boy, also included a picture of the couple kissing in the same spot where they said, “I do.”

Koepka’s wedding to Sims was a weekend-long affair that included an intimate dinner before the nuptials, as well as a party on the beach.

First linked in 2017, Koepka and Sims announced their engagement in March 2021 before tying the knot a year later.

Koepka called his wedding to Sims the “Best. Day. Of. My. Life.”

It’s been a celebratory few weeks for Koepka and Sims.

The model and philanthropist was named a top seven finalist in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s annual SwimSearch, with the first rookie of the 2024 issue set to be announced in September.

Koepka is also coming off the fifth major victory of his career after he won the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill in May.

He became the first member of LIV Golf member to win a major after his third PGA Championship victory.

Koepka, who joined the controversial Saudi-backed circuit last summer, also placed second at the 2023 Masters in April.
