Washington Spirit and USWNT star Trinity Rodman didn’t maintain again whereas discussing her strained relationship together with her father, five-time NBA champ Dennis Rodman.
Trinity was a visitor on the most recent installment of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast — entitled, “The Truth About My Family” — and revealed her tough upbringing as a result of Rodman’s partying way of life with “random b–hes” wasn’t an acceptable surroundings for her to reside in.
“We had an expedition and we kind of lived in that for a little bit,” Trinity instructed host Alex Cooper, who talked about that some would possibly assume cash wasn’t a difficulty for her rising up. “We tried to live with him but he’s having parties 24/7, he is bringing random b–ches in. He loves the spotlight. He loves the cameras.”
Rodman was recognized for his wild partying way of life — together with his whirlwind marriage to mannequin Carmen Electra at A Little Chapel of Flowers in Las Vegas that lasted just some months.
Trinity’s mother is Michelle Moyer, Rodman’s third spouse. Moyer filed for divorce in 2004 and it formally went via in 2012.

Trinity went on to recall the emotional second she and Rodman shared when he stunned her at a Spirit victory throughout an NWSL playoff sport in November 2021.

“I’m crying, no one knows what the f–k’s going on and I’m like, ‘Dude my dad’s here,’” Trinity recalled, including on the time that she hadn’t spoken to her father in months. “Then I stroll over, and once more there are cameras all over the place, he grabs my head and I simply begin bawling into his arms as if it’s a daddy-daughter like —
“I lost hope in ever getting him back, I answer the phone now for my conscience to be like, ‘He needed to hear my voice’ before anything happens. That’s why I answer the phone, not for me. He’s not a dad maybe by blood but nothing else.”
Trinity defined that she hadn’t spoken about her father in depth as a result of she needed to guard his picture — however she admitted it turned tough to remain silent due to her pent-up anger.
“We never want to make him look bad, and that is at the cost of kind of holding it in a lot,” she mentioned. “I guess it’s just like the anger that I haven’t really been able to let out is difficult for me.”
