Dealer Joe’s is asking its clients to throw away a sure frozen product over fears that it could comprise plastic.
The beloved grocery retailer chain introduced the recall on Feb. 14.
In an announcement on its web site, Dealer Joe’s suggested clients to get rid of any Dealer Joe’s Natural Acai Bowls, no matter UPC code or best-by dates.
“Out of an abundance of caution, please discard any Trader Joe’s Organic Acai Bowls, as the product may contain foreign material (plastic), or return them to your neighborhood Trader Joe’s store for a full refund,” the corporate stated.
The grocery store chain didn’t disclose any reported accidents or what number of product models have been impacted.
Dealer Joe’s has recalled merchandise over plastic contamination prior to now.
