Legendary sport present host Chuck Woolery, who was the primary host of “Wheel of Fortune,” died Saturday. He was 83.
Woolery’s dying was introduced by his pal and podcast co-host Mark Younger in an X publish.
“It is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away. Life will not be the same without him, RIP brother,” Dr. Mark Younger wrote.
Though they’d shortly name 911, Woolery was not capable of be saved.
Woolery acquired his huge profession break in 1975 when he was named host of “Wheel of Fortune.”
He would maintain that gig till 1981, when Pat Sajak would take over.
Woolery would later host reveals like “Love Connection,” “Scrabble,” and a revival of “The Dating Game.”
Chuck Woolery is survived by his spouse Kim and his kids, Katherine, Melissa, Michael and Sean.
No reason behind dying is presently recognized.
