President Donald Trump was hailed with large cheers in Philadelphia Saturday, as he attended the NCAA Males’s Division I Wrestling Championship.
The gang rose to its ft and heartily applauded Trump as he entered the Wells Fargo Enviornment and stood on the occasion ground for a couple of minute waving to the onlookers.
Broadcaster ESPN even interrupted an interview with nationwide champion Carter Starocci to chop to the president’s grand entrance.
As Trump took his seat the gang chanted “U-S-A, U-S-A.”
Trump was accompanied by DOGE chief Elon Musk and Home Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).
Jordan gained the NCAA Division I males’s wrestling title twice as a pupil on the College of Wisconsin-Madison and later served as an assistant wrestling coach for Ohio State College.
Two of the game’s largest stars had been thrilled the president could be in attendance for his or her ultimate match.
“We’re going to put on a good show for him. Him showing up Saturday night, he’s coming to watch some of the best wrestling on earth, and we’re going to give that to him,” Gable Steveson, heavyweight for the Minnesota Gophers, mentioned Wednesday at a press convention the York Every day Report reported.

Penn State’s Starocci, who turned the primary five-time Division I nationwide champion on Saturday, was additionally pumped for the prez to be in attendance.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he informed the paper Wednesday. “[President Trump] came to nationals my sophomore year and it was really cool. He’s obviously a big fan of combat sports, he’s at all the UFC events. It’s good for our sport.”
