A Canadian man allegedly attacked vacationers and Transportation Safety Administration officers inside a Miami airport Saturday — only a day after he was concerned in mid-flight antics that pressured a aircraft to do a U-turn, based on authorities and stories.
Cameron Dylan McDougall, 28, is going through battery costs after he first allegedly attacked a sufferer strolling to his gate at Miami Worldwide Airport round 7 a.m., based on an arrest report obtained by Native 10 Information.
The suspect didn’t utter a phrase when he approached the stranger from behind and “started punching him,” authorities alleged.
McDougall then allegedly began brawling with one other man who tried to intervene earlier than the foreigner walked to a TSA screening space and began choosing a combat with officers, based on the arrest report.
He took swings at one officer as he grabbed his arm after which socked one other officer thrice within the face because the officer tried to cease him, the arrest report alleges. A witness jumped on McDougall to cease him as extra police converged.
The day earlier than his alleged assaults, the Canadian was concerned in an in-flight disturbance that induced the aircraft he was on to show again to Miami, a TSA spokesperson informed ABC Information on Monday.
Extra details about the incident was not instantly out there.
Whereas he was not reportedly drunk, it’s unclear if he was impaired by medication, ABC Information reported.
McDougall, who’s from Toronto, was charged with three counts of battery, together with on a police officer and on an individual 65 or older.
“This unprovoked and brash physical attack against our employees, who work tirelessly to ensure the safety of the traveling public and the security of our aviation system, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” TSA stated in a press release to ABC Information.
“TSA is working with law enforcement and will pursue independent enforcement actions against this individual.”
