Buster Olney isn’t a fan of how some Dodgers gamers have been carrying themselves after defeating the Yankees within the World Collection.
Dodgers gamers together with reliever Joe Kelly and utility-man Chris Taylor have been crucial of the Yankees after Los Angeles received the World Collection in 5 video games.
Olney had some selection phrases for the Dodgers on a current version of ESPN’s “Baseball Tonight” podcast.
“I know this: if the Yankees had won, Aaron Judge wouldn’t have crapped on the Dodgers,” Olney stated, as coated by The Massive Lead. “Giancarlo Stanton wouldn’t have. Anthony Volpe? No probability.
“I think Taylor’s had a great career, the way he’s adjusted at the plate, he’s adapted to different positions,” Olney continued. “He’s one of the best in the world at what he does. But he and the small handful of other Dodgers who are chirping know better than anyone how hard their sport is to play, and they’re better than this. Why not bask in the glory of an incredible World Series win from the high ground?”
Taylor made inflammatory remarks on Bleacher Report’s “On Base with Mookie Betts” present.
“We’re all kind of thinking it — (the Yankees) kind of (crapped) down their leg,” Taylor stated, referring to the notorious comedy of errors that was Recreation 5’s fifth inning. “They were pressing. It was one thing after the next. … All we’ve got to do is put the ball in play right now.”
On the “Baseball Isn’t Boring” podcast, Kelly ripped the Yankees as lazy.
“We had seen it every single game just let them throw the ball to the infield, they can’t make a play,” Kelly stated. “… It was a mismatch from the get-go. If we had a playoff re-ranking, they is likely to be ranked the eighth or ninth-best playoff crew.
“You’re placing the Padres forward of them, you’re placing the Phillies forward of them, you’re placing the Mets forward of them, you’re placing the Braves forward of them, and the Braves simply received unfortunate as a result of they needed to play that doubleheader.
“I mean, the Guardians played like crap, but the Guardians played better [defense] and better baseball all around. It was just a complete mismatch.”
