The son of former Jets nook Antonio Cromartie is following in his father’s footsteps.
Antonio Cromartie Jr. dedicated to Florida State College on Monday after making the journey to Tallahassee the day earlier than to go to the varsity.
The youthful Cromartie obtained his supply from FSU on Christmas Day and advised reporters after his go to over the weekend that he wished to make his determination by Monday.

Cromartie Jr., a three-star defensive again out of Georgia, stated Surtain had advised him they didn’t supply him, simply due to his title.
“They offered me expecting me to make an impact on the field for them and that they believe in my skills to do that,” he stated.
The younger nook referred to as FSU his “dream school” earlier than his go to and defined how the varsity “holds a special place in my heart.”
“Been waiting for this one for a long time and now it’s finally here,” he stated.
Cromartie Jr. helped lead Carrollton Excessive College to the 6A Georgia state title recreation and completed his senior season with 85 tackles, 4 pressured fumbles, 4 move breakups and an interception.
The elder Cromartie performed 11 years within the NFL, 5 of which have been spent with the Jets from 2010 to 2013 and 2015.
He was a four-time NFL Professional Bowler throughout his profession and was the NFL interceptions chief in 2007.
