John Mellencamp is getting ready for a heartbreaking consequence.
Teddi Mellencamp revealed that her well-known father has already began planning her burial amid her stage 4 most cancers battle.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 43, stated on Tuesday’s episode of her “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast that the 73-year-old rock star referred to as her “11 times in a row” to debate a morbid matter.
“Finally, I answer, I’m like, ‘I’m in the bath. Let me live a little.’ He goes, ‘I just want to make sure you’re going to be in our group family mausoleum,’ ” Teddi defined.
The truth star stated she requested her dad if there would even be house within the mausoleum in Indiana for her three youngsters, Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5, whom she shares with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave.
“He’s like, ‘Well, there’s going to be the top five and then we’re gonna have little areas around it, and then that’s where everyone’s going to get buried,’ ” Teddi shared.
After Teddi requested John if she wanted to make that call now, she stated the “Hurts So Good” singer informed her, “You’re doing your will right now, so you may as well put it in there.”
Teddi confirmed to co-host Tamra Choose that she agreed to John’s request and stated she must journey to Indiana to go to her grave. Teddi additionally joked that she’d have “hot girls never die” engraved on her tombstone.
Teddi first shared in February that a number of tumors have been found in her mind. She had surgical procedure and 4 giant tumors have been eliminated.
The next month, Teddi revealed that medical doctors discovered extra tumors in her mind and lungs.
“I am going to always fight to be my best and find ways to smile and enjoy life,” she unhappy in an Instagram publish. “Thank you for coming along this journey with me. I am in no place for negativity or discouragement.”
In an interview with US Weekly final week, Teddi stated that she is “fighting for my life.”
“This is definitely the hardest thing [I’ve faced in my life], but now it feels less hard,” she defined. “When I was in the ICU, it was incredibly difficult because I had no memory. One day, I realized it was my daughter’s birthday, and I couldn’t be there for it; it was really sad. It’s still sad when I can’t be there for my kids the way I’d normally be.”
Teddi additionally revealed that her estranged husband was the one who informed her dad about her well being situation.
“I was not expecting my entire family to be out here within 24 hours, but by the time I was out of surgery, everybody was there. My dad hates L.A., so the fact that he was out here for 18 days — wow,” she stated. “That says a lot.”
Teddi added of John, “He calls every day to check on me. Some days, I’m not in the mood, I don’t want a pep talk. [I tell him], ‘I’ll talk to you tomorrow, I’ll be more pep talk-ready, but I love you.’”
