Two law enforcement officials in Virginia have been shot and killed throughout a site visitors cease late Friday evening, authorities mentioned.
The Virginia Seashore Police Division confirmed the fatalities in an announcement posted to social media on Saturday. No different data was instantly obtainable.
“We are unable to share much information at this time as this is still very much an active investigation,” the police assertion mentioned. “However, we want to assure the community that there is no active threat.”
The police division added that they’re asking the general public for persistence as they work on the investigation and “grieve the loss of their own.”
