Over the weekend, the “Achy Breaky Heart” hitmaker, 63, stepped out to attend the Nashville Humane Affiliation’s Unleashed Dinner with Your Canine because the occasion’s celeb visitor.
After the soirée, the nation crooner — who has been a longtime advocate for animal rescues — took to social media to share some snaps from the night.
In his Instagram publish, the singer stated the affiliation “asked me to attend its Unleashed gala tonight and of course I had to support.”
Cyrus, who adopted each of his canine, Rain and Tommy Jack, from the affiliation, continued, “If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have Rain and Tommy Jack! What a wonderful evening with such an incredible organization, and to top it all off, Emmylou Harris! ❤️🐾”
The singer’s outing got here simply weeks after his controversial efficiency at President Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20 made headlines for all of the incorrect causes.
After taking to the stage simply hours after Trump, 78, was sworn in because the forty seventh president, Cyrus had an enormous meltdown over alleged technical difficulties.
He later insisted that his efficiency took successful after his gear went “to hell.”
Days later, his estranged son Hint Cyrus revealed that his household is “genuinely worried” about him and his well-being.
“I barely recognize you,” the previous Metro Station rocker wrote on social media. “It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you.”
Hint added that the Cyrus household has been involved about Billy Ray for years as he touched on their damaged household dynamics.
“You may be upset with me for posting this, but I really could care less at this point. Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away,” the “Shake It” hitmaker wrote.
“Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life, and you haven’t even been there for her,” he stated, referring to his youthful sister. “That’s your baby girl. She deserves better. Somehow just like me, she still idolizes you though.”
Miley Cyrus’ brother went on, “We are all hanging on to memories of the man we once knew and hoping for the day he returns. You’re not healthy, Dad and everyone is noticing it. Just like I showed up for you at Mamaw’s funeral when you didn’t expect me to, I’m still here right now.”
The crooner has since damaged his silence following his son’s public plea, saying that he’s “praying” for his family members.
“Praying for my family. For my children … sons and daughters…and their mother,” he added, referring to his ex-wife Tish Cyrus in an Instagram publish.
“Let this moment be the start of healing ❤️🩹 for us all. ‘The past does not equal the future.’ Amen 🙏🏼”
