A US appeals courtroom on Tuesday blocked the Biden administration’s 2024 rule on upfront disclosure of airline charges, saying the Transportation Division had not complied with procedural guidelines.
Tuesday’s ruling despatched the rule again to the Transportation Division to provide it an opportunity to deal with the procedural errors.
Rules issued by the Transportation Division in April required airways and ticket brokers to reveal service charges alongside the airfare, in a transfer to assist customers keep away from unneeded or sudden charges.
