She was simply winging it.
An “anxious” Alaska Airways flyer dramatically opened the emergency exit of the airplane and climbed onto the wing after Flight 323 landed and reached the gate in a weird scene in Seattle on Sunday.
Passengers have been starting to exit the business plane round 5 p.m. when the unidentified lady couldn’t wait any longer to deboard at Seattle-Tacoma Worldwide Airport after the airplane acquired in from Milwaukee, in response to a report.
“During deplaning of the aircraft a passenger on board became anxious and opened the emergency exit over the wing. The woman climbed out onto the wing,” a spokesperson for the Port of Seattle informed KIRO 7.
Firefighters responded and retrieved the girl off the wing, and a police disaster crew then decided the girl wanted to go to the hospital for a medical analysis, the spokesperson informed the station.
Alaska Airways confirmed the incident involving a “disruptive guest” was resolved safely.
“We are working with our crew and airport officials to gather more details about what may have transpired,” the airline informed KIRO 7.
“We thank our employees for their swift response and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our guests.”
