Jennifer Tilly is opening up about her divorce.
On the Tuesday episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the actress bought candid on her break up from ex-husband Sam Simon whereas the opposite girls mentioned their very own separations from their former spouses.
“It takes a really long time to get over a divorce,” Tilly, 66, stated. “My ex-husband was Sam Simon, who [co-created] ‘The Simpsons.’ I was married to him for seven years. We were together for about 10 years, and then when we got divorced, I got a piece of ‘The Simpsons’ in the divorce settlement.”
“Nobody knew that ‘The Simpsons’ was going to go on for trillions of years,” she teased with amusing. “Truthfully, daily, I’m like, ‘Thank you Sam!’ “
Tilly and Simon had been married from 1984 to 1991 with “The Simpsons” debuting on Fox in 1989. Simon died in 2015 from colon most cancers at 59.
Tilly joined the franchise as “a friend of” for Season 14 alongside Bozoma “Boz” Saint John.
The “Chucky ” alum spoke to Vulture forward of the season premiere, telling the outlet that she had “always been a superfan” of the truth present and was wanting ahead to entering into her new function.

Tilly revealed that she had turned down the chance to be on the collection in previous years, however this time she determined to tackle the “challenge.”
“To me, it’s like working with Martin Scorsese,” she stated. “My boyfriend always says if he got $40 million, he wants to go into space and experience zero gravity. To me, being on ‘Housewives’ is experiencing zero gravity. I was more excited to meet Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne and the other ladies than I was when I met Elizabeth Taylor.”
And Tilly’s longtime buddy Sutton Stracke shared some sound recommendation for her bestie after having been on “RHOBH” in Season 10.
“I’m so happy I get to spend more time with Sutton because in the last few years, since she’s been on ‘Housewives,’ now I understand it’s so intensive and I didn’t get to see as much of her as I like,” Tilly informed Folks in August.
“She’s great because she’s kind of showing me the ropes because it’s a little intimidating,” she added. “She’s a stellar Housewife. … [She’s] very forthright, like, ‘You need to do this or you need to do that.’ ”
Stracke, who was standing beside Tilly in the course of the interview, chimed in: “No, it’s funny because I did Jennifer’s series ‘Chucky.’ I never had done anything like that in my life, so that was new for me. Seeing [her] come on with us, I’m like, ‘No, no, no, we don’t cut. We don’t say action because it’s not scripted — you actually just talk.’ ”
