San Jose’s Music in the Park is back for three shows in 2023.
The lineups were recently announced for two of the three showcases.
The first one features a powerful triple bill of Living Colour, Soul Asylum and the Replacements’ Tommy Stinson on July 21.
That’s a really solid lineup, so expect thousands to turn out with hopes of singing along with Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality” and Soul Asylum’s “Runaway Train.” (Not sure what Stinson will be performing, but here’s hoping the set includes the Replacements’ “Left of the Dial.”)
The Aug. 18 headliner is CeeLo Green, the multitalented R&B/hip-hop artist best known for the smash hit “Crazy.”
Acts for the third Music in the Park concert — set for Sept. 22 — will be announced at a later date.
All concerts take place at Plaza de Cesar Chavez in downtown San Jose.
